The whole site has now been cleared of top soil and the first layer of hardcore laid all over the ground

The footprint of the building has had a number of layers of hardcore placed over it and compacted down as required in the planning regulations

The contractor is laying out the building’s footprint to allow them to start digging out the foundation trenches
